Privacy Policy

This website, clientpowers.com, is operated by Client Powers LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

New-release alerts. If you sign up, we collect your email address, your first name if you give it, your consent with the date and time, and your IP address at sign-up, which helps prove consent and filter spam. The list runs on Sendy, software on our own server, and emails are delivered through Amazon Simple Email Service (Amazon SES). Our emails may record whether they were opened or a link was clicked.

Email. If you write to us, we receive your address and whatever you send, and use it only to reply.

Server and security logs. Our web server and our security and delivery network, Cloudflare, process technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to deliver the site and block abuse.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no advertising or analytics trackers. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie. Retailer sites you visit from our links, such as Amazon, set their own cookies under their own policies.

Who we share it with

Only the providers who help run the site and the list: our web host, Cloudflare, Amazon SES, and Google Fonts, which supplies the site's typefaces and sees your IP address when they load. We never sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Subscribers are kept until they unsubscribe. After that we keep only the email address on a suppression list, so it is never emailed by mistake. Emails are kept as long as needed to help you. Server logs are normally rotated within 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop receiving email, wherever you live. Depending on your location (for example California, the UK or the EEA) you may have further rights, including to object, to restrict processing, to portability, and to complain to your data protection authority. Email [email protected] with "Privacy" in the subject; we reply within 30 days. For subscribers in the UK and EEA, the legal basis for the alerts is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing.

Children

Our books are for adults. This site is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
